How can a company get paid to catch criminal activity? Would this work if I took a camera and recorded police officers driving incorrectly and then sued in civil court? NO! It would not since I did not incur any damages from their criminal act. They are just bullying you into paying them by misconstruing the law. They couldnt get the camera's to be lawful in criminal court so they passed a law making it okay to do it in civil court.

I'm glad, too. Especially since I've witnessed those cameras flash when NO one had been running a red light, just making right turns. I've felt so sorry for those people.

Personally, I'm glad to see them gone. I have had groceries go flying slamming on the brakes. I'm sure I would have made it through while still yellow, but I'm not too confident in the cameras. I've seen them flash for no reason, and I've seen people run very stale red lights with no flash.

I think we only bought tv dinners for an "emergency" situation. At that time we never looked for the amt. of sodium or fat, for that matter. And if you think they are expensive now, they were so then also. I never liked them either. Really, I hardly ever buy frozen dinners...well, maybe french fries. Thanks for bringing up those memories. Remember the tv tables: a plastic tray snapped on to a metal stand?

You might try Purple Haze and Mothership Wheat. Can't remember who makes Purple Haze, but Mothership is made by Belgium Brewing Company out of Colorado. You can put a orange in mothership to fruit it up a bit. It's not real common though. HEB in College Station will sometimes order a beer for you if it's not stocked on their shelves. They ordered Mothership for a friend of mine a couple of years ago and have carried it off and on since.

These don't count as traffic violations, and if you don't pay them, they affect your credit, not your driving record. I think I am correct about that. Anyone 100% sure about this? Call them and tell them you can't pay right away and see what they say, then let us know. I think there's a penalty for not paying, but if you call them and tell them you are going to pay it in a month, maybe they'll give you a break. This is not a traffic violation.

since the summer, I've gotten no less than 7, yes 7 citations from these things...all from turning right. None where my intention, but even though I was cautious I still kept getting tickets in the mail.

I'm a recent grad, I have no career yet, and survive off of $60 dollars a month after all my bills are paid. I don't think I'm blowing it out of the water by saying these things are ruining my life, I pretty much had to starve for 3 weeks just so I can get one of these unfair tickets off my back, and I didn't have any other option other than paying it.

It is important to clear my record of any traffic violations because I'm trying to join the Army and can't ship out before it's all payed off. Again, I can't even begin to stress how these things are ruining my existence.
